Thank you for your interest in joining the family of Become. Our utmost desire for those who are attending Become Church to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, and to develop a personal relationship with Him. Therefore, it is important for Christians to consistently attend a Bible believing church that will help them develop spiritually. 

 

How can I join?

Following our Sunday services we invite you to provide feedback via your guest feedback card and you are welcome to attend one of our Journey Classes (An open session that allows you to learn more specifically about who we are, what our vision is, and how you can connect, grow, and serve) should you elect membership following this class.  Journey is hosted quarterly and includes a Pastor's Reception where you can meet our pastoral team. It is a great time for food, enriching fellowship and our way to thank you for being our honored guest!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For individuals who desire to make Become Church his/her church home where he/she can develop that relationship with Christ, there are other expectations that we trust members will fulfill. First, all persons who wish to be members of Become must complete the Journey membership class offered quarterly for approximately 3 hours to accommodate the busy schedules of our prospective members. In the membership class, the facilitators will teach the foundational principles of Christianity and church membership as well as the organizational structure of Become Church.

 

We believe that membership at Become is much more than joining a social organization. It is joining a family, a family of believers. Because we live in a city that encompasses so many transitional families from other states, Become- for many members- has served as family, and a home away from home.  We aim to embrace all through love, acceptance and forgiveness and to uphold the unity of a strong family. For this reason, we challenge our members to rise to the occasion and give God their best by:

 

• Completing Membership Class;

• Attending Church 2-3 times per month;

• Joining a weekly discipleship group;

• Attending at least 2 fellowship events per year;

• Participating in at least 2 outreach activities per year;

• Participating in the prayer emphasis of the church;

• Giving to the ministry;

• Serving in ministry.

 

How to Register for Membership Class:

Membership Class is scheduled by way of several means.

 

• Contacting the church office (770) 904-9010 to register for the next scheduled membership class.

• Completing an interest form and placing it in the offering basket.

• Going directly to the first membership class without registering.

 

A new member can start attending on any Sunday. Once the 3 hour class is completed, a certificate of completion will be given once completed.
